Curse

I saw this in another website that has nothing to do with this game and thought mayby I should try it on this site this is how it goes I start a story and someone continous off that and off that and so on and so forth.

OK I hope this is a good begining

After 3 years in prison odral the ranger/warrior finaly gets back and tries to start his life over the countries changed alot over 3 years. Odral's thiking about joining a new guild but its been 3 years there's probaly bigger and better guilds than he's remembered but he's got to let the world know he's back.

During his travels he spots a lively town. There was no town in that location three years ago. He decides to go into the town and check with the citizens.
As he enters however he noticed a disturbing fact. Fires were burning, people were talking, singing, and laughing. However, there was something strange, the sounds seemed to be comming from right ahead of him, but he did not see a person of any sort.

He could see the and the active market stalls, but he could not see the people.

He walked around the own continuesly looking over his shoulder thinking someone would be there. He realized something must have happened to this city since all that remained were the souls of the dead that remained in this cursed city. There was one thing that he found in his exploration of the city. It was a bloody sword with a strange enraving he had never seen before. So he set out to find more information on this sword, thinking it will lead him to the killer all these people.

Odral, on his journey north to what the signposts indicated as the nearest town, spent most of the night contemplating on the disappearance of the town's inhabitants. When he stopped to rest, he examined his newfound treasure and carefully cleaned the engravings of encrusted blood. It must have been left at least a fortnight ago with all the blood being dried. The sword when fully cleaned looked...powerful. That was the only word he could form in his mind as he gazed at the moonlight reflecting off of its blade. As he turned the sword over in his hands the reflection elongated to the length of the sword. It wasn't long till the whole sword was aglow, producing enough light for him to be able to see clearly around him at night. He dropped the sword in a panic and watched it's moonlight glow dim to steel again. It had magical properties, Odral hates magic. He's hated magic since he was young. Swords, shields, and muscle he could deal with, magic he could not. Odral didn't think magic was evil, for it was a tool just like a saw. He just hated those who wielded it maliciously, it was because of these few that he ended up in prison. Truth be told, it was a mesmer, he didn't think he could ever trust a man in a mask again. As he sheathed his sword, he spent the rest of the night thinking about the future instead of the past.

The sun rose to what his natural instincts told him, was going to be another beautiful day. He picked up the mystical sword and having nowhere to put it, wrapped the sword up in his bedroll until he could find a sheath. He didn't like the idea of leaving such an obviously powerful weapon to whoever comes across the area next, with his past it wasn't an option. He continued his journey north in hopes of getting a few more pieces to the puzzle he's found since his prison release. Odral was right, it was going to be a beautiful day.
